No access to Response Headers in HTTP Module?

Hi All,

I'm implementing an ASP.NET http module that logs all incoming and
outgoing HTTP traffic. While I have sufficient data available through
the HttpRequest object, I cannot say the same regarding HttpResponse.
There is simply no way to access the response headers!

Has anyone run into this before? If so, how did you resolve the issue?

I'd appreciate a swift response...

Thanks
-- Shachar.

I'm in the process of moving my site from one server to another (my old hosting company appears to have gone bust). On the old host and on my local Mac OS X machine I can send HTTP/1.1 response headers with no problem (e.g. header( 'HTTP/1.1 200 OK' ). If I do the same on the new server I get redirected to the server's 'Internal Error' page (i.e. error 500). No indication of what the error is.

I created a module that filters the response stream so that it writes out to a file as well. The only problem is that I would also like to capture the header information but I don't see a way to do this. I only see AddHeader but nothing like Headers collection or GetHeader or a some kind of switch that once ticked, writes out headers as well. Does anyone know? Thanks.

I have some issues with HTTP Headers and I was hoping for some pointers or references to good articles. Here is the problem. I have 6 .aspx pages, each page contains a common .ascx. This ascx serves two purposes, 1. it contains a tab strip with response.redirects to navigate to the other pages; 2. I authenticate the user by check to see if a cookie exists, if it doesn't I redirect to a login screen.

Hello, I am trying to add items to the ServerVariables Collection for some custom processing. In the past this needed to be done with an ISAPI filter. I am told now that I can do this with a class file that implements IHTTPModule. Below is my code but I can't get it to work. I don't get any errors but I don't get any headers added to my collection either. Let me note that I have added the correct data to the web.config file and the...

I've searched the web & can't find an answer to this. Is it possible to successfully use Response.AddHeader for a robots meta tag? For example, I want to do <% IF request("PageID") = 252 THEN Response.AddHeader "robots", "noindex" : %>

Here is the WSDL <wsdl:definitions xmlns="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/"...

Before anything else, I am not a very technical expert when it comes to VBA coding. I learned most of what I know by the excellent Access/VBA forum from bytes.com (formerly thescripts.com). Ergo, I will be writing this article intended for those who are in the same level, or maybe lower, of my technical knowledge. I would be using layman's words, or maybe, my own words as how I understand them, hoping, you will understand it the same way that...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
