Hello,
I'm trying to get the details out of a datagrid component and it works fine
when I'm accessing the first page of the datagrid, but when I try to click
on the details hyperlink for an item that is not on the first page, the
web-page displays the first page of the datagrid again and show the details
of the field on the same location, but on the first page.
For instance, if I have the first page with the following data:

I can not get my datagrid to page. I have a datagrid that
I can sort 2 of the columns. This works great. I added
paging and when I display the dg it shows 5 pages. (I am
showing page numbers at the bottom of the dg.)
When I click on the pages nothing happens until I get to
the last page. Then and only then is the last page
displayed. If I go back through the pages the second to
last page displayes the first page again.

I want my gird to sort only the items on the current page when I click on a column header. I wrote a little test app, but when I sort it pulls in items from other pages and places them on the current page.
i.e.
If I have:
IntegerValue StringValue CurrencyValue
0 Item 0 0

Hi, I'd like to have a datagrid that has a dropdownlist in the pager control
for setting the page size. I can get the control into the pager inside the
datagrid itemcreated event by checking for ListItemType.Pager. The problem
I'm having is subscribing to the selectedindex changed event. The datagrid
doesn't even seem fire an itemcommand, but that's ok, just the selectedindex
changed event would do...
Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Anyone can help me with the datagrid,
well, the app load a lot of data from DB and it show on the datagrid, and

I need to allow paging and.... the issue is with the event PageIndexChanged
of the datagrid 'coz every time when the user change of page the app load
again all data and another processes with the data even though I have load

Hello,
I'm learning to code in C# and I created a DataGrid component, which I
couldn't get it to work properly either using "Next >>" and "<< Previous"
buttons or using actual page numbers.
When I use the "Next" and "Previous" buttons, I move on one page (going from
page 1 to 2). Then if I click next on page 2, it comes back to page 2. I

Is there a way to carry data that I have already read from the datagrid from
page to page?
I am looking at my Datagrid that I page through and when the user says get
the next page, I have to go to the database to get the next page. Is there
a way to use the dataset to allow us to read back and forth in it instead of
going back to the database to get it?

I have a datagrid with a checkbox and dropdown list in each row. Both set
AutoPostBack to true and ItemCommand and OnSelectedIndexChanged events for
these controls works fine when DataGrid is not paged. As soon as I turn on

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
