Hi All,
I adapted some sample code from w3schools.com and tried to adapt it to .NET
to test dynamic processing in a WebForm. The client page that got generated
produced everything that was coded except for displaying the time at which
it was generated. I tried everything I could think of to rewrite this and
to debug this.
Anyone out there in Cyberspace got any idea why the time doesn't get
displayed. The .aspx code follows below

I've tried a number of examples showing how to read the properties of a user
control from an aspx file where the code is on the html view of the form but
I can't figure out how to read them from the aspx.vb. Can anyone tell me
how to declare the user control in the aspx.vb file so that I can read the
properties?

Just got the book, ASP.NET by Greg Buczek (Osborne). The first part of book
listed many aspx codes, not created by VS 2003 or VS 2005. How can these
aspx files be coded? NotePad or VB 6? The book did show the web pages with
IE for these aspx files.
If not VS 2003 or VS 2005, then it must be VS 6. I have an old VS 6, so I
ran the aspx file of Chap 1, the IE browser showed only the background gif
file.
What's wrong? Can ASP.NET...

Visual Studio 2005 recently stopped generating the *.designer.vb files for
my *.aspx and *.ascx files. I am using Service Pack 1, and do not believe I
did anything differently than normal prior to this happening. Is there
anything that could have caused this? Does anyone know of a way to fix it?

many of my C++ programs contain a spanish question mark (¿) as their

Hi,
This is an issue that happens to me and everybody else I know and I've never
found a way around it.
In Visual Studio (currently using 2003 but the same has happened for me in
2005 and 2008 as well)
If I put a breakpoint in a .js file, the debugger picks it up and breaks
into it at that point.

1. Why does Visual Studio 2008 started ignoring //{NO_DEPENDENCIES} in
resource.h? If I edit file "resource.h" _manually_, it rebuilds the
whole solution. It worked just fine with Visual Studio 2005.
2. Why does Visual Studio 2008 not allow having two resource files
(that use the same "resoure.h") open at the same time, when they are
in different projects of the same solution (localization resource-only
dll projects?) It worked just fine...
