Hello!
I've come across a strange behaviour in ASP.NET.
If you're examining the property "HttpContext.Current.Session.IsNewSession"
in a Page/UserControl, it always yields true, unless the "Session_Start"
method has been wired up in the HttpApplication (global.asax).
Could anybody please confirm this bug or explain the behaviour?

Hi,
I have a site which uses dynamic MasterPages. The selection of the
MasterPage to use is determined by an encrypted QueryString. Session_Start
looks for the presence of the QueryString, decrypts it, and sets up a
Session variable holding the name of the MasterPage to use. The contents
pages interrogate this Session variable in the Page_PreInit method (has to
be done here) and apply the correct MasterPage accordingly.

I had this idea about preventing session fixation, and I'm wondering
what anyone else thinks about it. The idea is, essentially, don't
allow session ids that YOUR PHP didn't generate (and aren't yet
expired) to log in. That way if someone sticks a made-up session
ID on a URL, it won't matter, unless it happens to correspond to
an active session (guessing a user password is probably easier).

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
