I have a DataGrid in WebForm . I have a Session variable "LANGUAGE " in wich
I storing values ENG or FR.
On the page I have 2 linkButtons for the 2 languages - when the user click
on the the button, the form is initialize with the language.
Everything is OK, except initializing of the HeaderText of the DataGrid. I

I have a Datagrid with a templatecolumn, where I add at design time. I also checked the "create columns automatically"
I would like to change the headertext of columns created automatically, but i don't know in which event I can do that
Can you help me
P.S. I tryied to set the headertext in the "PreRender" event of the DataGrid, but in this point the grid has still only the templatecolumn, and the others columns aren't created yet

VS.NET 2003, C#, Windows Server 2003. I have a datagrid and I want the
last column to be either an EditCommandColumn or a template column,
depending on a value I have. The value changes for each row. So some
rows will have an EditCommandColumn, others just a text message in the
last column. Is this possible? I am already using the ItemDataBound
method to perform some function on each row, but I can't seem to

I need change HeaderText of DataGrid in PreRender(). But it seems

I can see the value changed correctly when I was in debug mode, but it
doesn't show on the page. It always the original value.

I have a GridView control with a few columns declared directly in the aspx
file. I have found that if I remove the HeaderText property from all columns
that the GridView handles state completely differently than if any of the
columns has a value set for HeaderText. This sounds completely wrong to me.
Has anyone ever heard of this?
