multilingual smtp component

Dear Sir,

I wrote an Smtp myself to send email. Everything works fine when I am
sending English email. However, when I send an email with special characters
in it, there is always a problem. I used UTF8 encoding, below the sending
command.

Can someone tell me what did I do wrong? How can I write a smtp component
which can be able to handle special characters?

Private Sub SendData(ByVal strMsg As String)

Dim strByte As [Byte]()

strByte = System.Text.Enc oding.UTF8.GetB ytes(strMsg.ToC harArray())

qqNetworkStream .Write(strByte, 0, strByte.Length)

End Sub

Kind regards

Hello All Back in the day, when I was up to my elbows in Site Server 3 Commerce Edition, there was a SMTP Component that supported transactions. If the mail could not be delivered the transaction would abort. This was extremely useful because it meant that if part of your order processing required an email to be sent, (delivered), if it could not be, the whole order placement process would roll back. Just wondering if anyone knows...

Has anyone had any issues repeatedly sending SMTP e-mails from .Net? I have a c# component that gets executed by multiple threads, and uses SmtpMail.Send to send e-mails. Whilst in 80% of cases this works fine, I sometimes get "Could not access 'CDO.Message' object" errors The code in question is running as an AIC component under BizTalk. The call stack is: System.Web.Mail.LateBoundAccessHelper.CallMethod(Object obj, String

I'm puzzled by this situation. I'm running on Windows XP Pro 2002 SP 2. I started on an ASP.Net project, initially using the standard SmtpServer and MailMessage classes. For testing, I used the same e-mail address for From: and To:, my personal e-mail address on my ISP. I do not have an e-mail server set up on my machine, though I do have the SMTP service running. Everything was working. I could send a mail message from my ASP.Net...

Does anybody know of any good C# SMTP libraries that do not use System.Web.Mail (i.e. they don't require CDO)? In particular I'm looking for ones that provide the source code, but that are not "open source". Our company is getting away from using any open source. We are converting an application that was originally written in C++ that used the Dundas SMTP library (source code was provided). Problem is that I don't believe Dundas has a...

All, I want to have mail sending capabilities in my .NET application running on IIS6.0. I cannot use any enterprise's exchange server. I want to use the locally running SMTP service in the webserver to send the emails. The webserver will have a public IP and a domain will be registered for the web server.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
