I am hoping someone can tell me how, or point me in the right direction for
the following problem. I need to have word open a specified file, .mht, as a
plug-in inside of IE so that I can edit this file within the word plugin
within IE. I am not even sure how I can get this to work with a .doc file. I
appreciate any help you can give......Thanks, Jason

Hi everybody.
I've got a problem. I'd like to avoid opening a new window when you
have pressed the shift key and you click in the left button of the
mouse. I've tried the next solution, in the body of the page I put the
next code:
<BODY onkeydown='notOpenNewWindow();'>

Hi,
Being fairly new to .NET I am looking for a way to call
MS
Word from an event on a webform, and after the user is
finished save that created document to an SQL Server
database. Has anyone done this? Does it seem possible? I
followed the instructions from a sample on the Microsoft
knowledge base but it only seems to work when creating a
VB.NET Windows .EXE, not an VB.NET ASP app.

Hello All,
I have an app on an intranet which uses the response.contenttype in
ASP to create a word doc. The issue I am having is that when this doc
is generated and opened, the session is lost. We have tried everything
up to this point, setting timeout in IIS, refresh scripts, etc, until
we realized it has something to to do with the Word document.
I have spent a LOT of time trying to figure this out, or find an
answer online. I...

Here's the problem:
- Website is ASP.NET 1.0
- Server is Windows Server 2003
- Browser is IE 6/7
- Client requests a mail merged MS Word 97 - 2003 document on the website, and the document gets created on the server.
- Need to send the document to the client browser and delete the file from the server.
Previously, the web application already did this, but after some hardware and location changes, the application no longer performs this...

tw.document.writeln('Content-type: application/msword');

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
