OWC11 documentation for ASP.NET

I'm not sure what I am missing...

According to
http://support.microsoft.com/default...en-us%3B319793,
documentation for OWC11 is found in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft
Shared\Web Components\11\1 033. Sure enough, there are a pile of .chm files
there. However, these files describe stuff in terms of VBA, not .NET.

I was also guided to
ms-help://MS.MSDNQTR.2004 APR.1033/owcvba10/html/octocMSOWCObjec tModels.htm,
but I do not yet have this available. However, this seems to be similar to
OWCVBA11.CHM, so I am not sure how helpful it will be.

Can some one PLEASE direct me to useful documentation for using OWC11 under
ASP.NET. Thanks!

AFAIK there isn't any! OWC isn't a native .NET library anyway, so not only
will you have to use the relevant interop assembly, but that also explains
why all the documentation appears to be for VBA.

There's a brief introduction to the usage of OWC10 here :

http://aspnet.4guysfromrolla.com/articles/080603-1.aspx

but apart from that article, there's not a lot else out there (that I know
of).

I'm developing a project using .NET and OWC myself, so if there is actually
any better documentation/examples out there (particularly in C#!) I'd also
love to know.

Hey guys, Just want to thank you guys in advance. I am receiving a "library not registered" error when I am running this code. I am not too sure why this is happening. I don't get this on the "Server.CreateObject" line. Here is the code: set chtSpace = server.CreateObject("OWC11.ChartSpace")

Hi all, Could somebody please enlighten me with the following issue: I have an apllication that uses OWC11 to generate a chart. Everything works fine until i try to use ExportPicture. I get an Access denied exception which I tried to resolve by making sure that the authentication was set to windows integrated, UNCHECKED allow anonymous access, and finally used <identity impersonate= "true" />. Unfortunately this did not resolve the issue....

Hi, I wrote a small program in C#, using OWC11, that fills data in an excelsheet and save it to disk as xls-file (using the Export-function). It works well with Office 2003 but i've got problems using the file in Office 2002 and 2000. It seems that the exported file is in an XML-file and not an native Excel-file. Is it possible to generate a native File to use it with 2000 and 2002, or have I to grade down to OWC10? BTW: How do I color...

I have a rather simple ASP.NET program for displaying a formatted spreadsheet. (Needless to say, there will be some data added!): Private Sub Page_Load(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles MyBase.Load Dim xlsheet As New SpreadsheetClass Dim rs As New StreamReader(Server.MapPath(".") + "mySheet.xml") Dim xmlContentFromFile As String = rs.ReadToEnd() xlsheet.XMLData = xmlContentFromFile

I am trying to create an excel spreadsheet from my asp.net(vb.net) page. I can do this, but I just cannot find much documentation or code samples online. There is some for very common tasks, but I can't get a lot of things to work. I would think that I could pretty much do anything excel can do from my code. Here are some examples: Freeze Panes, Password Protect a worksheet, set Wrap Text on a cell, rotate text orientation 90 degrees in...

I developed a Web project using Visual Studio 2005 Web Deployment Projects. I'm also using OWC11 for some charts. The problem I have is that when I transfer the deployment folders to the server I get an error: Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.Office.Interop.Owc11, Version=11.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=71e9bce111e9429c' or one of its dependencies. Hi, From an aspx (.net 2.0) web site, I basically want to provide my users with some data in an excel format. I found that a good way was to user the owc11 library (from Office 2003). It runs great on my dev machine and, of course, bad from my production server. What I did:

HI all , I am creating a UI using VBA program where I am using OWC 11 control. What I want is that--- when user will select the pricular cell(say, D4) in the OWC spreadsheet, a combo box appears in place of the cell and from the drop-down list box he will select the correct option and that will be the value of that cell (i.e. D4). Now I've written the code like following:-- //Code//

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
