Is it possible to response.redire ct to a new browser window... i.e specifiy
a blank target?
If not, then when using the data and a hyperlink column, can I use more than
one URL field?
thanks,
Shane 2 1677
No, Response.Redire ct won't work for this.
You can open a new window using javascript such as this:
a=window.open(' MyPage.aspx','M yWindow')

thanks for the answer Steve.
I just decided to do hyperlink column on the id and pass the month and year
in session variables since this is admin only operation.
Thanks for your input.

Hallo!
Ich habe ein Frameset mit 3 Frames.
Im 1. Frame wird eine ASPX-Seite geöffnet. In dieser werden einige
Steuerelemente angezeigt.
Frame
angezeigt werden soll (je nach Benutzeraktivität).

Can anyone help with how to use the Response.Redirect method to open a page
in a new instance of the browser. In this case it is a report. When the
user selects a report from a list then I want to display the report but when
they close the report the resport list window (browser) should stay open.
Any help would be greatly appeciated.
Thanks.

I have a big asp file that has an error under certain conditions -- totally
repeatable. However, it only fails when I set response.buffer = True at the
top. WHen I set it False in order to debug it, it works every time! I even
set it to True, but did a .Flush just before the error, and the error won't
happen.
It only happens when response.buffer is True and no .response.flush is issued.
The error is a string variable turns-up empty...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
