Hello,
Could anyone please help me??
Is there somebody who could explain me how to make a connection to a access
database with a python cgi script.
I would like to use common sql commands in my python scripts as I can with
MySQLdb.
But I cannot even connect to the access database (see below).
Could anyone explain it to me as simple as possible please. I'm using
Windows XP, ActivePython 2.3.2 build 230 and Microsoft access(XP?)

Hi,
I am working on a asp page where I am opening a recordset object using
an Access stored query named "GMISExpenseCombo". I have to use
this resultset with various fields in the page. Howeve,r this query consists
of
1000 unique records. The way this query is used in a different Access
application is
using its parameter to pull a distinct record. In ASP, is there any way to
use a Access parameter query to extract record of choice? Or,...

Hi! I'm very new to ASP.NET and really need some good advice from experts
here.
I'm creating a web application for my company now. This application has 2
parts. 1 part for the customers to access. The 2nd part is for our staff to
access only. My director hopes to make the 2nd part to be something like an
intranet, such that only our company's computers (maybe only 1 or 2 in the
company) can login to this part of the application.
1. My...

Can anyone explain why an insert might cause multiple logical
bufferpool data reads?
Here's a situation that has me scratching my head.
Table A's data resides in tablespace B
Table A's indexes reside in tablespace C
Table A has no long data
No other data resides in either of these tablespaces.

Helpful folks,
Most of my previous experience with DB2 was on s390 mainframe systems
and the optimizer on this platform always seemed very predictable and
consistent. Since moving to a WinNT/UDB 7.2 environment, the choices
the optimizer makes often seem flaky. But this last example really
floored me. I was hoping someone could explain why I get worse
response time when the optimizer uses two indexes, than when it uses
one. Some context:

Hi everyone,
I'm keen to use Access as a client application to access data from a MySQL database. The reasons are Access for its strength in reports creation and MySQL for its stability and scalability. I also intend to site the MySQL database with a web hosting service provider. This means I'll be trying to access the database over the Internet using MS Access.
I have managed to access MySQL using MS Access through MyODBC driver and get...

I have a dynamic range that I would like to use as a linked table into
Access. The problem is that Access doesn't seem to want to to
recognize the dynamic range when you click on "show named ranges" in
the Link Spreadsheet wizard. The reason I want to use a dynamic range
is because when the data in my excel spreadsheet changes the linked
table will import blank rows that were previously used from the bottom
of the spreadsheet. I can't...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
