Hi!
I've got a problem attaching the Script Debugger to ASP
pages under IIS6. Set up everything following IIS6
documentation: turned on ASP debug in IIS Manager; edited
permissions for Machine Debug Manager in the DCOM
configuration, giving Launch and Activate permissions to
Network Service (which is the account for the
corresponding process pool).

All of sudden (?) the VS.NET v1 IDE is NOT automatically attaching
aspnet_wp.exe as a debugged process.

hi,
I compiled a console app to be debuggable and i verified to have the
.pdb file along with the .exe file.
in the main function I wrote this line in the begining
Console.ReadLine ()
so that the console application stops and wait for an input, and that
allows me to attache the debugger to the cmd.exe process successfully.
however the aplication isn't stopping at the breakpoints and i m sure

When I used Framework 1.0, if I had any problems once I had copied my
application onto a target machine and it had problems I would copy a load of
JIT files into the directory (including cordbg.exe, I don't remember what
the other files were!) and it would automatically attach the debugger and
show me the exception.
However, I'm now using verion 2.0 of the Framework and I'd like to do the
same thing but I can't figure out what files I...

Hi,
I have a two fold question:
-how to attach the debugger to running multi threaded program
-the objective is to find an infinite loop in one of threads which
makes the whole thingy going craze (100%CPU)
The program itself is not easy, in fact quite hude and sometimes it
takes hours to get to that infloop state.

I am using VS2003 to create a C# dll that uses shell namespace extensions.
I need to debug my code but it is running in the explorer.exe process and
when I open my namespace extension from My Computer so its running, then try
to attach to the explorer.exe process with VS2003 I get the message....
"Unable to attach to the process."
Any suggestions are really welcome because I really need to see what is
happening inside my code.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
