I am wondering what the best approach to binding XML data to an asp:Table
from the Page_Load event in a code behind module?
I'm using VB.Net and initially approached this by adding a table to the web
page from the VS2003 ASP page designer, extracting an XML document from SQL
Server during Page_Load, then adding asp:TableRows & asp:TableCells one at a
time / loading the corresponding xml values a cell at a time.
Is there a better (less...

I'm dynamically building a table in the code behind and I'm having a problem
with an extra space after the tablerow. The HTML renders like this:
<td>
<a href="#"><img src="mypicture1.bmp" border="0" /></a>
</td>
<td>
<a href="#"><img src="mypicture2.bmp" border="0" /></a>
</td>
<td>

Okay, I'm sure that this is an incredibly simple one and it may have more to do with HTML than with ASP.NET
I have an ASP:Table with no borders and that table has several ASP:TableRows, each with several ASP:TableCells in them
I have no trouble setting the BorderWidth, BorderStyle, etc. of the individual TableCells or even of the whole ASP:Table. But what if I want to set the BorderStyle and BorderColor, etc. of one of the ASP:TableRows?...

I have an asp.net table which I am populating with controls dynamically at
runtime. The controls themselves get/set values in a datatable which is
stored in viewstate over postbacks. Here is basically what I am doing:
pull datatable out of viewstate
for each row in datatable
create tablerow
create tablecells
create controls

Hi,
Is it possible to add events, specifically a Click event, to a dynamically
created TableCell?
I have an <asp:Table...> control to which I'm dynamically adding TableRow
controls made up of TableCell controls - before you ask, the underlying data
is really not suitable for a DataGrid or Repeater...
Now, the client is asking for each dynamically added TableCell control to

I'm trying to block out some text by setting Label width attribute which
renders as a span tag so that all labels for textfields take up the same
amount of space hence the textfields are all aligned but for some reason the
width is being ignored in IE 6 even though it works in Firefox. Is there some
bug associated with this and maybe the Doctype specification?

Hi,
I am using ASP.NET 2.0 with C#. ViewState is not working for controls
created at runtime.
On a page I have a few (static) textboxes that get populated from database
and then I create other textboxes during runtime using the folloiwng steps:
1. I add a TableRow(TR) to an existing table using HtmlTableRow
2. I add TableCells(TD) to the above TR using HtmlTableCell
3. I add TextBoxes to the TDs using using TextBox
Then I start...

hi
asp.net 2.0
Below is some markup I have trouble with. The problem is that the Textbox
doesn't fill the entire DataCell.
I've set width of TextBox to 100%.... The point is that I want the * to be
aligned exactly at the right corner of the TextBox. As it is now there is a
huge space between them, maybe 30px

Hello,
I have an issue. I'm not seeing the reportviewer data at all. The
column names come up fine but there is no data in the report table.
Here is what I'm doing
I created a dataset with the following query
select * from av_project_mst where apm_project_id=@projectid
Now I created a report (.rdlc) and dragged a table onto it and the
report looks like the following

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
