Hi,
On my dev machine (P4 1.7Ghz Win2K) debugging with Komodo is painfuly
slow. There is a delay of several seconds when stepping over a single
line of code. Debugging the same code with Pythonwin is very quick. Does
anyone else experience slow debugging, and is there anyway to speed it up?

I spent a few hours today setting up remote debugging in VS.2003
I had to disable the firewall, subvert the security scheme and let anonymous
users have full access to my COM+ objects on my Windows XP workstation, but
other than that, it was smooth sailing.
And, oh yeah. I also have to run remote desktop sharing terminal between
my XP workstation and the W2K target or I can't RPC to the destination
machine.

server. I have the application set up in Visual Studio ok but I'm getting
the Access is Denied message when I try to debug.
The documentation states that the solution is to add the appropriate account

I have tried various solution without any luck
I have tried the following suggestions:

A few weeks ago I was able to run remote debugging from my local
machine (VS 2005 XP sp2) but now I get the following message:
unable to start debugging on the web server. logon failure: unknown
user name or bad password
I logged on to a neighbors computer and I can debug from his so the
server should be OK right? The web server is running Server 2003
sp1. I even tried disabling the loopback check in the registry...

modified the DCOM security to allow remote access to Anonymous login

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
