Folks,
I have a few <INPUT TYPE=TEXT> tags that are readonly if a specific
field has no value... these work fine. However, I also have checkboxes
which I would like to have as readonly, but the same code doesn't work -
Can someone suggest a solution?
This is sample code extracted from my original code:
// Before other input tags determine if they are read only or not,

I want to set a textbox's ReadOnly value to the OPPOSITE value that the
CheckBox has. For example: If the user checks the CheckBox then the
ReadOnly property for the TextBox is set to False. The default value of
the TextBox is set to false. Am I on the right path or am I totally
off in left field?
<input type="checkbox" name="chkCode1" value="ON"
onclick="document.DisplayCodes.txtGrossPayroll1.readOnly !=...

Hi all,
I'm working on a report display page that currently uses 5
checkboxlists with a total of 86 items to display values from 5
different tables in an Access database.
The page works fine now. On presenting it to the users they pointed
out that their users could change the values in the checkboxes and
then print them out, ultimately documenting false information.

Hi Group,
I have a checkbox column in a web datagrid which is related to a "Product in
stock" property.
The grid is in view mode, so the user can't (and shouldn't) change anything
in the grid.
What I need is to show a "ReadOnly" checkbox in the grid, but not a disabled
one (grayed out).
I'm using a template column and the only property I can set is "enabled".

In my datagrid, there is a checkbox column,
I did set myDatagrid.readonly = True, (I still can tick the checkbox)
if I set myDatagrid.enabled = false, (i can disable the whole datagrid,
however, user cannot scroll it )
Any simple method can make the datagrid (every column readonly) and scroll
able ??
Thanks a lot

The following code generates checkbox values from the database. Once the
user selects/deselects checkbox values, is there a way to obtain the ID and
Checkbox.Checked state from these BoundColumns so I can update the table
they came from? Thank you. -Greg

OnItemDataBound="Item_Bound" AutoGenerateColumns="False"

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
