When designing a webpage, is there a way to disable the back button? It
must be possible.
I am asking because there are certain web applications that I have used that
require the user to never press the back button from certain screens. If
the back button is pressed, it will bill for charges, even if the user is
pressing the back button as a way of canceling. Another example would be
Mambo CMS -- if you click the back button on...

Hi,
I am using history.go(-1) for implementing the back button
functionality.
Its working fine but with this exception.
1. The page which is having back button has some hyperlinks on it.
2. When anybody click on those links, it will open a new windown.

Is it possible to disable the back button of the browser
application-wide? Or it must be done in each form?
In any case, how?

Hi all,
I've got a rather unique problem (I think), and I'm hoping someone can help me out.
I developed a solution for my company using MS Access 2007 with the MS Access 2007 Runtime. Everything is fine with the application itself although we've just discovered that at the bottom of all 2007 Runtime applications there's a "Powered by Microsoft Access" button which, when clicked, opens a browser and points itself to MS's Office web page. We...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
