I am looping through a list of categories and want to display the list
horizontally (instead of vertically). I want to create a single row
with 4 list items in each cell of the row.
I thought this would work but I get this error:
"End tag 'xsl:if' does not match the start tag 'ul'."
Any thoughts?

Try out the following code:
<html>
<body>
<table onMouseOut="alert('out');" width="50%" height="50%"
bgcolor=yellow><tr><td>
<table width="100%" height="100%"><tr valign=middle>
<td align=center bgcolor=lightblue>1</td>
<td align=center bgcolor=palegreen>2</td>
</tr></table>
</td></tr></table>

I'm trying to replace <table>s with <div>s as much as possible.
However, I can't figure out how to do the following…
<table>
<tr>
<td valign="top" width="100%">some data that will 'stretch'</td>
<td valign="top" width="300">some data that won't 'stetch'</td>
</tr>
</table>

Hi,
I am working on an app right now that makes extensive use of the DataList
control. I chose the DataList because I need to do multi row formatting. I
am using it like so.

Hi,
This is just a query about what people use most. Up until today I've
been using <asp:Table> tags to build my tables. We just outsourced our HTML
design to a local guy and when I got it back today I was working with the
html <table> <tr> <td> etc. What a difference that makes, server controls
are even automatically declared in the code...

I'm not using Master Pages, yet I'd like to display the contents of an HTML
page within a <table><tr><td> on a .aspx.
I have a lengthy guide already paginated in html. I'd like to embed the
pages "as is" in the new 2.0 app without using Master Pages or creating new
..aspx's. I'm looking for the quickest way to the finish line. Any...

I am using the TreeView control in ASP.NET 2.0 and like it. However, our
sitebuilders aren't too pleased with the idea of the table that gets
rendered. They are big into avoiding <table> tags when it comes to site
build.
So is there a way I could have the following html be rendered from the
treeview control?
<div...

Hi Folks,
There seems to be something about not using tables for layout, but use divs
instead. I'm not sure if I've got this right. If the output looks like what
you want, then it shouldn't matter what tags you use I would have thought,
or am I missing something?

I've created my table and alli is fine. I name my <tdtags to make them
easier to identify when my table gets large. Anyway, I am naming as such:
<td id="cellName" >
Now, sometimes when make a change to a control my whole table gets resized
and screwed up from some reason. I may have a column with a width of 75px,
but it will appear so...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then...
