Hi,
I am trying to build a simple load test tool that makes a set of scripted
posts to some of my servlets in my web app.
All I want to do is open a connection, post some data to one servlet, wait
for response then post to s second.
The problem is that I need to use the same session.
Does anyone know a way to do this?

Hi,
I am calling an ASP.Net page from an ASP classic application but need
the .Net page to have access to ASP classic's session variables. I am
using HTTPWebRequest to call ASP classic page which could then return
the session values. But the values are always blank. If I do a
Response.Redirect() to call the ASP page, it returns the values okay.
But I cannot do a Response.Redirect() as I just need to access some
session variables and...

Hello,
We have an asp.net application to manage events. Some users get their
session values overwritten because they open a second instance of their
browser with File > New > Window. These two instances will now share the
session values. When they move to another event in the second instance this
event's data will be overwritten when they update data for the event in the
first instance. How can we code around this problem?
Best regards...

I am trying to get a mod_python application to read an existing PHP
session. I need some data that was set in the session by the PHP
application. I am using the mod_python Session class but even when I
specify the session id that PHP uses the Sesssion(req, sid) call
returns a new session id. The session file exists in /tmp as
mp_sess.dbm and I have verified that PHP is reading/writing it and from
what I have read mod_python will use the...

There are a few things that I store in the session cache hashtable for
our application. The user gets a session when they log into the
application. They can open more than one browser window using the same
session by doing things like:
If they right click on a link and select "Open in new window" from
the context menu.
If they hit CTRL-N to open a new browser.

Everybody knows how to open (or clone) the same page that you are
viewing in a new browser window by CTRL+N or via File->New Window. the
question is how to PREVENT to open the SAME WEB APPLICATION (with the
same session) in two or more browser windows.
any ideas?

I want multiple instances of the same .exe to run and share the same
data. I know they all can access the same file at the same time, no
problem, but I'd like to have this data in RAM, which they can all
access. It seems like a needless waste of memory to make them all
maintain their own copy of the same data in RAM at the same time.
What's the best way to achieve this?
I've heard of memory mapped files, so maybe that's the answer. ...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
