I have a webpage with a <form> consisting of a large table grid of dropdown
lists used to make changes in a database. Some of these dropdown lists have
the same value. I'm trying to make it so that when a user mouses over one
of the dropdown lists, that dropdown list, and all other dropdown lists
having that same value are highlighted with a yellow background color. Then
on a mouseout the yellow highlights go away.

Hi
I am doing a web application in which I have a datagrid with 3 columns. I am
populating the 1st column(label) and the 3rd column(dropdown list) from the
database. Before the 1st column I added an EditCommandColumn which displays
the Edit button for me. But when I click the Edit button for a particular
row, it sure displays a textbox for editing but I can't see the previous text
anymore. The same with the 3rd column's dropdown,,it shows...

Trying to figure out the technique which should be used
to add rows to a datagrid. I am thinking that I would
want an "Add" button on the footer, but I am not quite
sure how to do that. Is that the best method? Do you

Once a user clicks "add new row", a new row is created in my Datagrid. The
datasource is huge so they have to scroll to the bottom of the page to edit
the data in the new row. I have come across two EE solutions which use
javascript to focus on the textbox in the "editcommandcolumn" mode.
However, these solutions were made for non-autogenerated columns. I NEED
autogenerated columns for my project.

I have a dropdown control into a page and a gridview, both are associated to
two SqlDataSource controls, one of them is used to fill the DropDownControl,
that is meant to be a filter over the query of the other SqlDatasource
associated to the grid. This works fine, whenever I choose an item in the

TimeID,Employee,PayPeriod,C_Text in a label and hours, along with an
