Capture repeating fields duing datagrid postback?

I have a datagrid w/ a textbox and a checkbox that are repeated for each
row. I would like to be able to cycle thru each row in the datagrid during
postback and determine these fields values.

How should I proceed?

Thanks,

I have an intranet app that i would like to just capture the Path contained in the file field html control. The app will reside on an intranet and we all will have access to this path - it seems a waste to upload the file. The browse button will capture the path just fine, and display it in the associated text box. But i can't see to find a way to capture that path on postback.... I tried looking in the form fields collection but it...

Hi all. I have an empty datagrid on my web form. And I add BoundDataColumn(s) to it through code. But after each postback, the columns and rows disappear. As a workabout, I tried to rebind the datagrid to the dataset (stored in a session variable) on the PageLoad function which works fine. But my datagrid has a button-column called EDIT which is supposed to execute some code. But during the postback,

When building a form using Infopath, you can define a repeating section and stick form fields in that section. I'm curious if ASP.NET has a similar control to make it easy to design something similar using just ASP.NET (and not Infopath)? I'd hate to think that I'll need to write all the javascript/dhtml to mimic that functionality and I don't really feel the need to re-invent the wheel. Has MS designed such a control? A 3rd party? ...

Hi all, I recently stumbled upon a bug in the ASP.NET framework handling of ImageButton based postbacks. The issues derives from the fact that IE and Mozilla handle the case of a missing image file differently. In both cases, the setup for the problem is: 1. Create a form with an ImageButton whose ImageURL is invalid, specify an AlternateText value 2. Submit the form through that ImageButton

I've inherited an ASP.NET app and have been asked to fix the following problem with a page which is used to display and/or delete records from a database. When the page loads, it displays a list of the 26 letters of the alphabet as hyperlinks which the users then click to return records beginning with that letter, displayed in a DataGrid. The first column of the DataGrid contains a LinkButton which, when clicked, calls the Delete method of...

I have an aspx page (referred to here as page_1) with a datagrid whose first column contains hyperlinks. When a user clicks one of these hyperlinks, he will navigate to another aspx page (referred to here as page_2). I need to cache the value of the link's text (hyperlink.text property) so that I can use it in the page_load event of page_2. I've thought of using a hidden field and then calling Request.Form("hdnClickedLinkText") in the...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
