I need urgent help. Done OK for a newbie getting automation of Windows
Messenger into a Winform C# app but have three problems that I
urgently need pointers to. Point 1 and 2 are the same issue, I think.
Point 3 might relate to a threading issue:
1. I have written a C# Winform application that uses Windows messenger

create Init event for ths control.
Write Response.Write("here") inside this event.
Compile\build\run. I never saw "here" string appear on web page. Why???

I am using the following command to launch and .NET VB Executable, which is
a simple Windows Form (printCheckClient.exe). I am using a HyperLink Control
and works perfect.

I have been trying to figure out how to get the user login name of the
user using an asp.net page. This is for an intranet. I got as far as
doing something like this:
Dim wpMain as WindowsPrincipal
wpMain = new WindowsPrincipal(WindowsIdentity.GetCurrent())
Label1.Text = wpMain.Identity.Name
However, that will display <COMPUTERNAME>\ASPNET. I don't need the
ASPNET user, I need the user who is logged into the computer.

I have a user control that in turn creates a bunch of webcontrols
dynamically and handles the events these webcontrols raise. It used to work
fine on ASP .Net 1.1 but when compiled on 2.0 it does not. The problem is
that the webcontrols get created on the OnLoad event of the usercontrol and
the event handlers are assigned at the same time. I have to click twice on
the controls for the events to be raised, the first time nothing...

Hi All!
I have a ASP.NET 2.0 site that works on the Windows 2000 Server. However,
when I tried to view this site on my local Windows XP machine, I get "Server
Unavailable". If I switch the Windows XP IIS back to ASP.NET 1.1 then I get
the Configuration Error (which is understandable because I'm trying to run
an ASP.NET 2 site with 1.1 framework).
I can however view other ASP.NET 1.1 sites on my local Windows XP machine.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
