I have been working for quite some time on this issue which in theory
should be quite simple. The problem is that the Cancel and Save
events are not fired when their respective buttons are clicked.
I have read several posts which say to put your column generating
section in the Page_Init section and it will solve the
problem....however, it hasn't solved mine.
Can somebody please take a look at this and provide any insight if
possible?

Hello,
I have a usercontrol that I have built that has a single generic
datagrid. When setting up the inital properties I build the template
columns for the datagrid dynamically so it can display as readonly or
readwrite. The readwrite displays link buttons for edit, update,
cancel and delete buttons.
When I click on a edit link button the page using the usercontrol will
begin it's page load event and then the usercontrol page load...

I have an interesting problem with a datagrid. It is the standard
chicken-and-the-egg problem.
I have this page with two datagrids. It essentially defines a parent-child
relationship. The parent grid has a "edit" and "delete" columns. When the
"edit" link button is clicked, I want the child grid to display some
information related to the parent. Now the child grid also has some command
buttons.
My problem is that I cannot get the...

Good day, I have a specific case of the DataGrid in my solution which is
causing the ItemCommand Event Not Firing.
So I'm creating a "Skinnable" set of controls. I seperate the actual ASCX
file and .CS file. When I initialize my .CS file, in that code there is a
method that goes:
Page.LoadControl(FILENAME)
Which associates a .ascx file with my .CS file, allowing me to plug in any

Hi All:
I am trying to create a variation on the standard datagrid, whereby the
datagrid is only shown after pressing some buttons. This reason for
this is that I would like to use the same datagrid for several tables,
and the idea is that the button events store the the SQL select
statement and the SQL update statement in view state items, which can
the be reused for all the datagrid events (paging and editing).
However I seem to...

A Form has a DataGrid which displays records from a SQL Server 2005 DB
table. Users can modify the records using this DataGrid for which I am
using EditCommandColumn in the DataGrid. This is the code:
<script runat="server">
Dim sqlConn As New SqlConnection(".....")
Sub Page_Load(ByVal obj As Object, ByVal ea As EventArgs)
If Not (Page.IsPostBack) Then
FillDataGrid()

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
