Crystal won't load report

RH
Hi,
I've made an asp.net application which includes some Crystal Reports.
When deploying the app to a Windows server 2003, I get a "Load Report
failed" when trying to open a report. On my WinXP development machine
I have no problems opening reports. Even on other XP development
machines all reports work fine. I've deployed the app to a Win2k
Server, and to my surprise the reports work ok! It seems to be an
issue with Windows server 2003, but I can't find what's wrong.
Does anyone have a clue for me?
TIA

Hello, I am trying to build a Crystal report VisualStudio.NET for an ASP.NET application. I would like to build a report that doesn't connect to any particular database at design time because I am planning to pass a dataset to the report at runtime. From what I have read, it sounds like unbound fields might be the answer. However, I am having trouble figuring out how to bind these unbound fields to my dataset at runtime.

I have been fighting through my first crystal report in VS2003.NET and have made some headway. Here is what I've done: 1. Created a crystal report in VS2003 from a SQL stored procedure with parameters through the GUI. 2. Finally got past the logon failure error to display the report using the viewer. I assume that default parameters are being used since it does display some data and the SP won't run without being passed some values.

Have Windows App which makes call to Crystal Reports which is being published as web services. It works but really slow. stored procedures are used to get data from database. The windows app has crystal viewer which consumes the crystal report web service. The problem is, there is an audit trail report which I have to compare item by item to find out what got changed, and dump that into a dataset, load that dataset at runtime, create...

Hello, I need help. I have experience in ASP.NET programming, but this is my first dealing with Crystal Reports. I'm trying to make the most basic report purely for testing purposes: connect to the remote SQL DB and create a report on one of the tables. Every time I do it, I get the Logon Failed error (CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.LogOnException: Logon failed) The internet search shows that this is a common problem,...

I have just setup a WebServer and all the applications work fine, but when every any of the applications try to generate a Crystal Report the page errors out. "File or assembly name CrystalKeyCodeLib, or one of its dependencies, was not found." I read that the 4 MSM files need to be moved to the a MERGE MODULES folder in the Common Files folder, but didn't seem to do a thing.

Hello, I am developing a VB.NET 2003 application that will use lots of Crystal Reports. Sometimes the users will preview a report in a Crystal report viewer, and sometimes they will send the report directly to the printer bypassing the Crystal report viewer altogether. When sending the job directly to the printer I use the PrintToPrinter command CR.PrintToPrinter(1, False, 0, 0)

I have a VB.NET 2005 Winform app that has a crystal report. It comes up fine when I run the app on the Dev machine. But when I run the app on a users machine, even logged in as myself, I get prompted for a user name and password. And even then it won't pull up the report. The crystal report is sourced via a stored procedure. I choose OLD DB (ADO) as the connection source. I couldn't get it to work with an ADO.NET Dataset that I setup in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
