Syncronizing two instances of same control

Can anyone tell me how I might solve the following problem. I have a
composite control that I am placing at the top of the page which
contains Label and DropDownList controls. I now need to place a second
instance of this control at the bottom of a page and make the two
instances of the same control keep the same state. So if a DropDownList
in the first instance is changed which might also change the text of a
Label then the second instance need to be updated to display the same as
the first and vise versa.

Is this possible?

regards,

Aaron

I have been trying to figure out how to make the property values of two instances of the same control synchronize during a postback and need some help. I have posted an example of what I'm trying to do at this address http://64.84.11.209/. I would really appreciate any help with this. I'm actually surprised that no one else seems to be doing this or having the same problem. The functionality I'm trying to make work I think would be very...

Hello, I am using a HyperLink Web Control to create a new window instance of the same page that contains that control. The problem is that if I am working with both instances at the same time, I cannot execute them at the same time. If I execute one first, when I try to execute the other it remains locked until the other finishes.

I applied aspnet_regsql to SQL2K which was working fine throughout Beta 2 development. After installing Visual Studio and SQL Express RTM my application has blown up. Logging in to the application became realllllllllllly slow. Content in LoginView Role Groups was not displaying even after a user in a role had logged in. It was taking about 15 seconds or so for the login control to display when the login link was selected on the homepage....

Hi, How Do I create an instance of a derived class from an instance of a base class, essentially wrapping up an existing base class with some additional functionality. The reason I need this is because I am not always able to control/create all the different constructors the base class has. My problem can be described in code as follows ... /* This is the base class with a whole heap of constructors/functionality*/ public class Animal

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
