How can I use the designer to add a context menu to a class which inherits
from a control, e.g. treeview, without adding the context menu to a form?
For example, to add a context menu with "Select All" and "Clear Selection"
to a checked list box?
Thanks,
Aaron Queenan.

Hi all,
I half-resolved my previous TreeView issue. Now I was wondering if anyone
knows of a way to keep a TreeNode from being highlighted when it is
left-clicked? It seems like there should be an event I could intercept, or
a property I could set, but I'll be darned if I can figure out which one...

I'm trying to dynamically create values for a context menu (popup),
depending upon which node is highlighted in a Treeview control. This is not
a problem, if you select the node with the left mouse button and THEN
right-click (the context menu then displays an item IAW a Tag value
previously assigned to each node). If you only use the right...

Hi all, I'm just wondering if any one can help me with this development
issue I'm having. I've created a customized treeview control to handle the

dynamically creating a context menu and assigning it to the ContextMenu
property of the control -- think of this like the default...

I need a right-click menu on a form list control with combobox
controls.
I used View->Toolbars->Customize to create a toolbar.
I added ComboBox through commands tab.
I set properties to Popup making it a shortcut menu.
I have no problem linking it to the list control.
The menu comes up when I right-click the list control.

I want to use a TreeView control as a one-level, vertical navigation
menu. I'm using this control currently with a SiteMapDataSource
and .sitemap file. I've written code that associates an image with
each TreeView node based upon a custom attribute I have included in
the siteMapNode nodes of my .sitemap file. This all works as desired,...

I've a treeview control containing a root node with several children on a

I select a node with a left mouse button click.
I then select one of the other nodes with right mouse click to bring up my

node selected.
The new node highlights, and my context...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...
