I've spent weeks trying to write a function that is simple to use for
sending emails with attachments, but I my programming skills are not that
advanced. I've noticed a few postings in these newsgroups with the same
problem, so I just want to share my solution.
I recommend using libmail from
http://lwest.free.fr/doc/php/lib/index.php3?page=mail&lang=en
it has made my university project much simplier now! :-)

I'm trying to troubleshoot why my ASP application can no longer send file
attachments larger than 100K, and I have eliminated many possibilities
already, but I'm running out of ideas.
I think I have it narrowed down to an Outlook Express update that is
installed on the Win 2K Server, but when I try to remove the update, then
the application returns an Unknown Error during the objNewMail.Send function
call.
The symptoms are empty file...

Have been experimenting with sending HTML by using Content ID using the cid:
tag. I noticed that when the email is received in Outlook it looks great.
But when received in Hotmail web based client, though it looks ok, it shows
all the files that were included as cid: tagged as attachments. Not a very
professional look. Anyway to not have cid: tagged files not show as
attachments in all email clients?

I've used System.Web.Mail before but have never had the need to send
attchemnets through it...until now.
A client of mine would like a form on the website to allow a user to type up
a message and upload a file. I'm staying away from mailto links.
So the file and message will be uploaded to the server when the user clicks
send. The new file and message will be processed and emailed from the
server to my client.
I'm tring to get any...

Hi All
I need some help for the below problem:
Scenario
We need to send large binary files (audio file of about 10 MB or so)
from the client machine (.Net Windows based application, located
outside the home network) to the Web Server and then retrieve the file
back from the web server to the client.

Hello all,
I have written a short function, based on a recipe in the Python
Cookbook, that sends an e-mail. The function takes arguments that
define who the e-mail is to, from, the subject, the body and an optional
list of attachments.
The function works also perfectly, bar one slight problem. If you
attempt to send an e-mail with just a body and no attachments, the
receiving client still thinks that there is an attachment (so far...

I'm designing a survey form page that will be fairly complex and am
becoming confident enough with PHP now to tackle most things.
(Thanks to everyone here who has helped)
Before I go too far with this I was wondering if anyone could perhaps
offer advice or point me to any documents/web pages that could help with
ensuring the security of the form/page and site. It is likely that the
form will come under attack I expect.
Even comments...

All, I am trying to build a email submission form using asp.net. I
currently have a web form page that will upload to my webhosting
server, attach to email then delete the file after sending. This
works great with one attachment. I am requiring that a file be attach
before submitting. Now I am trying to add the ability to add multiple
attachments and I am able to create this however, it will error out if
all of the attachment is not...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
