Hi All!
I'm using IIS with python. I'm trying to use this combination for the
first time. I have a problem here.
I cannot use the Session object. I tried these:
Response.write(str(Session))
Response.write("\n")
Response.write(str(Session.Contents.Count))
Response.write("\n")

How do you get rid the contents in a std::stringstream? I'm using one in a
for loop to format some status messages which I print to the screen. The
stringstream member function clear() only clears flags (bits) in the stream,
right? I solved it by declaring the stringstream inside the loop body even
though I have need of another stringstream just after the loop. So for each
iteration the constructor of the stringstream will be executed. Is...

Hello,
I am trying to develop a book tracking application for my capstone in
school, and am running into a problem.
The application is an ASP.Net application written in C#. The first page you
go to is a login form, which will set several session variables with the
name used to log in, appropriate security level and some other misc
variables, and then will go to a main menu for each particular security
level using Server.Transfer. ...

In a "Save and Quit" button on my web app form (aspx), I have the
following code that is supposed to clear a session variable (an user
id) and redirect to a logon page:
Session.Clear()
Session.Abandon()
Response.Redirect("ApplicantLogon.aspx")
1. The redirect occurs, but the session variable does not clear.

I am trying to stream out a PDF file via the response object and when I
execute the code it always brings up the first document that I pulled
up.Even when I step through the code, I can see the new values in
theData string array (see code below), but it serves up the first
document that I had run this code with. I streamed theData into a text
file to look at the values and it contained the appropriate ones for
the new document. Even when I...

I'm using this code:
Dim strName
For Each strName in Session.Contents
Response.Write strName & " - " & Session.Contents(strName) & "<BR>"
Next
If I only do a response.write strName, it shows all the session names
but when I include the session.contents it gives me the following
error:

Is there a reason to use session.remove over session.contents.remove?
Don't they both remove the key and data from the contents collection?
I assume that session(x) = nothing does essentially the same thing but is
actually deleted later by the GC.
Thanks,
Tom

I'm currently developing a small MVC framework using classic ASP
(don't ask me why!) At it's core it calls the controller script which
does the heavy logic and builds disconnected recordsets of the
required data then transparently "includes" a page template asp script
using a Server.Execute.
Because of the limitations of Server.Execute and Server.Transfer the
data generated by the controller needs to be persisted past the
Server.Execute...

I came across this weird problem:
1. Session state stops working after the app is deployed to another server
because
IE does not accept cookies.
2. It works if cookieless="true" in the web.config
3. Yes, I tried IE - Tools - Privacy - Accept All Cookies and also
Override automatic cookie handling, Always allow session cookes

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies.
