I have 2 pages referencing the same codebehind file in my
project. Originally the pages referenced separate code
behind files. Once I changed the reference to the same
file, everything worked fine while the file was in the
project directory. When the obsolete file was removed
from the project directory, my application will no longer
compile. Can someone please help with this issue?

Is it possible to get my ASPX pages to compile in a namespace different than
ASP? Why don't ASPX pages compile by default in the namespace of their
code-behind? This causes me to have to import namespaces on every page in
which I want to reference a class on another page, even if it's in the same
namespace in terms of code-behinds.

Any tips for trouble shooting errors when the ASPX page won't even compile? What happens is that VS will "build" the code-behind object and the component that it instantiates, but when I navigate to the ASPX page, I get "An error occurred while try to load the string resources (GetModuleHandle failed with error - 2147023888). Then, I get the message about setting "Debug=true" directives. Those settings are in there.

Hello
was wondering, lets say i have like 1000 asp.net pages on a serv, and i need
to reboot server, will all pages need to be recompiled with that jit-thing
so it would take 1-4 secs to load pages for first time since reboot? if so,
is it possible to take it compile all pages when starting?

I have created a project (abc) in my wwwroot folder on my system. From
visual studio, i am able to run and view this page. Now I have deployed
on wwwroot folder and for this I have edited some code(in .vb pages)
according to the new path.
Since these pages are no longer part of the project file in visual
studio, how do I recompile my page so that it reflect the changes? Can

Redirecting from page to page within a web project is pretty easy. However,
all Redirect methods take strings as arguments, as if you mistype the string,
you don't find out until run time that you are redirecting to somewhere that
doesn't exist.
Worse, if you do type it correctly, but then later the page name changes or
the page moves, you still won't find out until run time.

I am developing my pages on my development machine
and then copying to the production server.
I am not pre-compiling, I am using the 'dynamic compile'
feature. This is working fine except that everytime
I change a page on the production server I need to restart
IIS to effect the change.
If I don't restart IIS, it tries to recompile but gets and
error ( 'cannot execute a program......vbc.exe......).
Am I missing something which allows...

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
