I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but i just now
noticed this today. When i was setting the properties
for the control, i set the "Scrollable" property to
false, but then later i realized i needed it and set it
to true. When i ran the app i noticed that the
horizontal scroll bar has the standard grey control
look. Well when i expand some of the nodes until some
are out of view, the horizontal and vertical scroll bars
pop up and...

We have DB2 7.1 on windows and we are trying to use a type 4 driver to
connect to the data base .
I have included the db2jcc.jar in the class path .
I am able to create a connection to the data base and also run SQLs
with normal result set objects and get results
but the momment I try to create a Scrollable result set as follows
Statement Stat = connect.createStatement(ResultSet.TYPE_SCROLL_INSENSITIVE,ResultSet.CONCUR_READ_ONLY);

The below problem occurs randomly too, but I've managed to isolate a
sequence of events when it always happens:
I have two forms (say Form1 and Form2). Form 1 contains a TreeView control.
A button from Form1 opens Form2 and a button in Form2 sends the user back to
Form1.
When the user goes back to Form1 from Form2, the TreeView control rebuilds
the nodes incredibly slowly. You can see the progress, as the scroll bar
slowly starts...

Hello,
I want to make a control that has a scrollable Gantt type display (not
really one but will look similar to one) this is going to be custom drawn (i
already have the drawing procedure completed for the overriden onpaint
event) but the problem is this can be a very long scrollable viewport (part
that scrolls inside the control) while the control will be relatively
800x600 in size)... i tried to do this with a panel scrolling inside...

Nodes display as whitespace when scrollable is set to false, and more
nodes are cleared and recreated than will fit into the space available.
Steps to replicate:
Create a form, with a button and a treeview that can display less than
12 Nodes at once . Put this code in button.Click
treeView1.Nodes.Clear();
treeView1.Nodes.Add(new TreeNode("Test1"));

When using ASP.NET 2.0's built-in TreeView on a page with
<BASE target = "AnythingBut_Self"></BASE>
in the HEAD, the expand/collapse buttons fail to function. The reason
for this is that the hyperlinks generated for the expand/collapse
buttons includes javascript code that will execute in the frame
specified in the Base Target rather than the current document. To
remedy this, TreeView should render a target="_self" attribute for each...

I'm having a problem with IE which displays my page footer partly
beneath the viewable/scrollable window. It seems to calculate the
bottom margin from the top of the div without looking at it's content.
I'm not even using absolute positioning there so I'm not sure what the
problem is. Any explanation for this and maybe some clean solution?

Sorry for crossposting to several lists, but from what I can tell, what
I want to do may involve several different areas of expertise. (None of
which I have :-( )
I'd like to use Gecko as the UI for an application mostly implemented in
Python. Ideally, I'd like to somehow come up with a Python module that
wraps the Gecko, so that I can:
1) Create windows whose content is drawn by Gecko.
1) Dynamically manipulate what is shown by Gecko.

I have seen many examples on how to use the .load() function to load in static elements, but I am trying to load a dynamic element, specifically a scrollable.
I have gotten it to the point where:
1) the scrollable will function if I directly view PageToLoad.asp in the broswer.
2) the static elements of the scrollable will load onto MainPage.asp. (i.e., it looks right)
3) the scrollable does not function as loaded on to MainPage.asp.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

The next Access Europe User Group meeting will be on Wednesday 1 May 2024 starting at 18:00 UK time (6PM UTC+1) and finishing by 19:30 (7.30PM).
In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.
He will explain when you may want to use classes instead of User Defined Types (UDT). For example, to manage the data in unbound forms.
Adolph will...
