hi everyone,
in my form i have to take some date information in dd-mm-yy format.
but i don't want user to use tabs while typing. for example s/he
should simply type 280104 but 28/01/04 must appear.
what can i do for that?
should i use three input tags? but then, how can i make the cursor
jump to the next field when typing in current field is done?
or if i use one input tag, how can i keep '/' signs in the field fixed

I have date values in mm/dd/yy format in a text file. How can use the
LOAD command or mysqlimport command and load those date values.
Currently I just load the date values as text into MySQL tables and
manipulate the text in applications. There must be a better way? can I
use DATE_FORMAT or something like that?
Thanks,
Yasaswi

I have a number of DateTimePicker controls, some set to dates, some set to a
format of Time. The controls are all embedded in dialogs. I created the
controls by dragging the DateTime picker from the Toolbox and then set the
Format property appropriately.
I have noticed that sometimes the Time format will reset spontaneously to
Short Date. I looked at the .rc file and found that the usual form for a
Short Date is as follows:

Hello,
I am building a parameterised query in vb.net for execution against a SQL
server database.
I am using a OLEDB command and OLEDB parameters. If one of the parameters is
a date I sometimes experience a problem in the interpretation of the format.
I populate the parameter value from a user input text box. I am in the UK so
the use inputs in the format dd/mm/yy. I know SQL user the US format of
mm/dd/yy.

Hi
I have a dataform that shows a date from a MSDE 2000 in a textbox.
It uses the format: dd-mm-yyyy hh:mm:ss
It would it to use the format dd-mm-yyyy
But I can't find a Format property for the textbox.
So I tried in the VB code the wizard generates
Me.editDateOfBirth.DataBindings.Add(New System.Windows.Forms.Binding("Text",
Me.objDSBoerneKirken, "tPersoner.DateOfBirth"))
Me.editDateOfBirth.Location = New System.Drawing.Point(120, 604)

I am trying to get a UK format date of dd/mm/yyyy.
Why does the following subroutine not return a valid date in a web form?
The date returned is #12:00:00 AM# but the date I entered into the text box
was 24/06/2006.
The other solution I have tried is given by the following two lines that do
not compile because a value of date type cannot be converted to datetime:

Hello, I've reviewed the archives here to address the issue, but I'm still running into problems. I've got a table field populated with the record date in text "YYYYMMDD"
To convert it into a recognizable date format, I've done the following:
Query 1: References Source Table; Isolates Year, Day; creates MMDD field
Acc Open Year: Left(,4)
Acc Open Day: Right(,2)
MMDD: Right(,4)
Query 2: References Query 1; Isolates Month

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
