I am struggling with the php mail function so to allow a multipart mime
settings where both the message and any set of attachments can be
allowed.
Teorically, I'd know how to do. I build up my headers and pass them as
the fourth argument of the function mail().
Practically, what happens is that whenever I try to test my script
emailing myself, what appears in the email body are the __cleartext__
headers.

We've got a couple emails that are sent to an account on a daily basis from
a third party vendor we work with. They mime encode the actual data
(text/plain) and include it as an attachment (the attachment is the only
content the mail body is blank). Most of the people use (bleh) outlook
express and these files that are attached use the julian date as the
extension (001-365). We need to look at these files everyday and opening
them isn't...

I would like to parse an email, which I receive from a pop3 account.
While the subject and the sender's email address are probably easy to
determine, the body seems to be more difficult because of multi-part
messages in MIME format.
I am interested only in the plain text.
Do you know an easy way to retrieve plain text of the body from an email
message?
Maybe a class, which can be constructed using the whole message string as a
parameter...

This may seem like a stupid question but I want to check before I go
ahead and build this...
I am working on a portal, part of which allows users to upload files.
Part of the array within $_FILES superglobal gives the mime type for the
file. Is this 100% reliable / accurate? If the mime type says the file
type is jpeg is it always right? Two reasons I want to know:
1. Certain types of files mustn't be uploaded, .exe files for example....

I want to convert rfc822 (.eml) files to MAPI (.msg) files. I do not
need to log in to Outlook to retrieve the messages, since the messages
have all been downloaded from the exchange server and are sitting in a
folder. I also do not need to save the converted file (.msg) to
outlook. I merely need to convert the files from .eml to .msg and store
the new .msg file in the same directory where I have the .eml files.
How do I use...

In outlook, I've setup an advanced search (Ctrl-Shift-F) and saved the search as msgsrch.oss. Next, I've uploaded this file to a field in my web sql server. In my web app, when I click on an email address I'm 1) loading the mshsrch.oss field into a variable, 2) replacing the email address with the one that is clicked on, 3) pushing the file out so that the search pops up un outlook.
This is really cool - if it worked. My problem is in step...

Hi folks
I'm a bit confused with an upload script that I've written. I want to be
able to check the file type of an upload by checking the mime type but I'm
not getting the results that I thought I should. According to what I've
read .zip files should return something like 'application/zip' or
'application/x-zip-compressed', RAR should return
'application/x-rar-compressed' but both return 'application/octet-stream'.
I'm getting the...

Hi, on windows xp I'm using
xampp v 1.6.4
I'm trying to send mail. The mail always sends, but the multipart
sections are broken. Essentially, I want to send an html email that
has a link it, like http://www.google.com so the reader can click on
the link.
When I get the email, the body is empty.

I am working on processing eml email message using the email module (python
2.5), on files exported from an Outlook PST file, to extract the composite
parts of the email. In most instances this works fine, the message is read
in using message_from_file, is_multipart returns True and I can process each
component and extract message attachments.
I am however running into problem with email messages that contain emails
forwarded as...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
