Suggestion for a good ASP.NET Web hosting?

At http://www.asp.net/Customers/Display...?IndustryId=27, there
are hundred of ASP.NET hosting companies.

Can you suggest one or a couple of good ones?

I'm looking to build a small Web site (for fun only). Might not even need a
database, but if there is SQL Server, that would be great. The cheaper, the
better. Free would be great, but I do want FTP access. Being able to upload
from VS.NET would be great too, but not essential. ASP.NET 1.1 is prefered.

Thanks.

I'm extremely happy with Webhost4life
(http://webhost4life.com/default.asp?refid=dwier)
They are very reasonable price-wise-quite a bit of web space and sql Server
space, if you need it - unlimited bandwidth and the service, as far as what
I've needed far outweighs most of the other hosting services I've tried in
the past. --- unlimited domains (depending on space), subdomains, etc.

Note - I don't recommend them because of the referral program either - -
though that's a plus for me - - note, that my refreral id is in the link
above - - I've been with them almost a year and wouldn't recommend them if I
wasn't going to stay

also look at www.crystaltech.com
I have about 10 sites w/ them and totally satisfied. Support is fantastic
and they have a control panel powered by dot net that lets you administer
all aspects of your site

Hello, I want to find a good web hosting company to build a site on using mysql and PHP. It would need to be scalable so that my web site could get really big. But I would start off small and with little money to pay for hosting. Does anybody recommend a good hosting company? Thanks Nick

Hi Everybody, I am Beny, a Canadian citizen currently working in Miami, Florida. My background is on computers, programming and the Internet. I am looking for a good hosting company. But I want it for me as a developer. Which implies developments on ASP. Net, Java, Database ( both MS Access and SQL ), Shopping carts, E-commerce, etc. That way after - only after - I fully develop my own applications

Please recommend a good Web Hosting Service that supports ASP.NET and SQL Server. I am currently using Yahoo Web Hosting but it supports PHP and MySql. Also, a good website to get a domain name. Thanks.

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
