Hi,
I have tried to keep things simple. Not simple enough, obviously.
I have a set of intranet ASP.NET pages which access a SQL back-end
through the normal SQLConnection stuff. I want to use peoples' NT
logons to user-stamp data changes made through the web-pages. So it
seemed obvious to use Windows authentication to access SQL
connections.

Hi,
I've created a little site for my sports club. In the root folder there are
pages that are viewable by every anonymous user but at a certain subfolder
my administration pages should be protected by forms authentication.
When I create forms authentication at root level it works but when I move my
code up to the subfolder I get this error:
Server Error in '/TestProjects/FormsAuthenticationTestingArea' Application.

I'm having a credentialing problem in my web application. Actually, I don't
think this is an IIS security issue, since I'm able to access the page I'm
requesting. However, the executing page itself is not able to access a
specific network resource and I just can't figure out why. First of all, let
me say this worked fine with IIS running on Win2000 Server. This has not
worked since I upgraded to Windows Server 2003.

I am having some troubles with Sessin varables dieing..
Basically ihave my own class structure called USER that once the user logs in i save it to a session var called
Session = myUserObject;
All this works fine until sometimes it is like my sessoin vars just die and then trying to do a cast on them will result in a invalid cast error EVEN though the object is the same type..
I am not sure if the problem is that i am using forms...

But we decided to turn off the cookieless mode because the client
specifically said her browser did not allow cookies. Anyway, when

I have a test network consisting of four servers running windows 2003 server R2 SP2. I have set up a domain which functioned correctly for about a day and a half until the other servers decided they can no longer connect to the domain controller. Ping resolves the domain controllers name to the correct ip nslookup finds the ip but can not resolve the name.
When I attempt to log on to a machine on the domain it takes around twenty minutes...
