With regards to the excellent article by Dino Esposito on Nested
DataGrids,
http://msdn.microsoft.com/msdnmag/issues/03/10/CuttingEdge/default.aspx
,
I tried to take that example and build on it and take it a little
further.
For those you havnt read the article yet, a summary:

I am trying to do some of the things we used to do in classic ASP that
required some pretty ugly loops in the .ASP page.
I have two different DataSets that each have a DataView that I can change
based on parameters passed in.
In my .ASPX page I have created a loop (using <% ..%> blocks) that contains
two different DataGrids. The loop changes parameters for the Dataviews
according to the loops counter and then displays the two different...

If you drop a datagrid into an itemtemplate column of a
datagrid using VS.net, it doesn't get declared in the
designer code with
Protected WithEvents NestedGrid As
System.Web.UI.WebControls.DataGrid
I presume that is why you can't pick up the ItemCommand
event of the NestedGrid if it has an ImageButton in it.
That being the case, does anyone know what you must do to

I know this has been asked before but I have not seen it
answered. How would one implement nested datagrids in
windows forms based on the table relationships within a
dataset? Or, is there some setting that lets you
automatically display the details table (instead of the
relationship name) on the new expanded row of a datagrid?
I have seen it for ASP.NET, but is this doable for windows
forms?
Thanks in advance,

Does anyone know where there is some examples of nested datagrids in vb.net
not using ASP.net
or
Does anyone know how to link using nested datagrids in vb.net not using
ASP.net
(eg where column 1 is a date and the column 2 is a datagrid that has
transactions belonging to that date)

I would like to implement a drill-down report using the ASP.NET
datagrid. From what I have read online, a way to do this is to have a
user control that implements the second-level data when you drill down
from the first level. This user control would be passed some info
about what row it is representing and would implement a second datagrid
that would be nested in the first one.
The outer grid's EditItemTemplate would contain the user...

Hi everyone,
I've got a strange one here. There are two datagrids on my page, one nested
within the other. I'll refer to them as the topmost and secondary
datagrids.
In the topmost datagrid's OnItemDataBound() method we check for the row in
which it's appropriate to add the secondary datagrid. Exactly one row in
the topmost grid will contain the secondary grid.

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
