total number of items in the datagrid control

Dear ASP.NET Users,

How can I get the total number of rows selected by the command text of the
datagrid (items in datagrid)? If I use the statement grdSP.Items.Cou nt with
the datagrid grdSP with paging, it returns the page size (5,10..) not the
total results. How can I get the total no?
Thanks in advance,

Buran

From what I've experienced, however, that claim isn't quite valid, at least in the case (the...

Hi, I'm trying to set up an asp.net page using flow layout so I'm putting all my controls into a table grid, etc. I use several radiobuttonlists and datagrids that are generated from datasource. The radiobuttonlists are fine, they size depending on how many item are called into it. However, the datagrids, prior to filling with data contain FIVE "Databound" items and the grid does not shrink if it is filled with only 2 for example....

I prepare a UserControl that act as a lookup control, once the code is enter in the TextBox, the description will appear in another TextBox outside the UserControl of the same row in a DataGrid via javascript. I attempt to get the client ID of the TextBox (with provided ID of that TextBox as "ext_desc") by the following code inside the Page_Load() event of the UserControl (named Color_Control): for(int i = 0; i < DataGrid1.Items.Count;...

My DataGrid control has footer and this footer contains a custom web user control. The control included via footer template at the desing time. I don't create it manually. The user control contains a DropDownList that populates data on its own Load event as : if (!IsPostBack) { ... rdr = cmd.ExecuteReader();

I need some help with an inventory type question. To lay the foundation... I have an inventory database that keeps track of parts for rebuilds. The tables are: CATEGORIES which is linked to table PRODUCTS. The PRODUCTS table is the parts needed to rebuild the items in the CATEGORIES table. I have a form where I can pick a category that will open a new form showing all the parts (from table PRODUCTS) that relate to that category (from table...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
