Use of "OR" I've never seen

164 Recognized Expert New Member
This is an interesting issue. I've never seen an Or operator used like this. Can anyone else explain?

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. response.write (8 or 16) '// outputs 24
  2. response.write (10 or 11) '// outputs 11
  3. response.write (5 or 6) '// outputs 7
  4.
Based on the outputs, I cannot seem to make sense of the pattern!

Help?
