My asp file cannot open in browser

I have a problem opening my .asp file on internet browser. Each time I want to open my .asp file on the browser, it will execute file download - security warning and it cannot open on the browser, it open on dreamweaver. Why this happen?Any solution?

I want to open it on browser so i can test it.

The web server doesn't have ASP scripting activated. You will need to activate that through IIS.

IIS is microsoft's web server software. If you are using a Microsoft operating system then the server is probably going to use IIS. I think at least on windows.
