Is there a way to add an asp.net non-application subfolder through
visual studio .net 2003? In the solution manager, I'm able to right
click on the asp.net project and add a new folder, but it creates an
application folder by default. I can change this through IIS, but this
causes problems the next time I attempt to open the solution -- visual
studio .net complains about not being able to read the contents of the
folder.
Any ideas...

i'd like to create an application which would run in the background, &
there'd be an icon in the system tray (can use the notify icon).
But HOW can i make the form invisible.
What i'd like to do is, when the exe is run, ONLY the icon should appear in
the system tray & nothing else.
& if necessary the user can click on the icon & there'd be a menu to load
the necessary forms.

I'm investigating on how to create an intranet web application that provide
corporate users a way to choose applications and install it with one click.
The applications are corporate application or 3rd party software (visio,
acrobat reader, etc.). Setup files are stored in some network shares.
Since web apps run in IE, a javascript cannot be use to run an executable

Hi,
can you guide me, which MS technologies are suitable to create drawing
application (simple CAD application) on the web - to allow 2D/3D drawing on
some canvas and use data stored on server (in some databases)?
The resulting application can be either embedded on the web page or runnable
directly from the web page - if it is possible with minimal depending
installations on client computer.
