Receipt Printer cannot print HTML / ASP file

1 New Member
Dear brothers and sisters,

Very grateful if you can assist me, as now i m stuck in a project, i develop an ASP based POS system, as i using asp to generate the receipt, but then once i tried to print the receipt, the receipt will show weird @@@@@@@
and squeeze all the forms together.

I tried Samsung Bixolon, Epson TM880 and Lukhan D30 dot matrix receipt printer, all of these printer cannot support to print html and asp format file, so is it anyway for me to create like VB tray to print direct to the printer? as i m not good in VB script, therefore really need your guys help

thanks

ASP can produce nearly any output, although we typically produce HTML output, and plain text is extremely easy, we can even do binary output. I'd suggest outputting plain text just to see if it prints:
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. response.write "hello world" & vbNewLine
  2. response.write "line 2" & vbNewLine
let me know if this works.

I have an electronic cash drawer as part of a point-of-sale installation. You're supposed to be able to automatically open the cash drawer with some printer commands (drawer is connected to the receipt printer) but I can't get it to open automatically. I want it to open when the customers receipt is printed. How do you send printer escape sequences to a windows printer via ASP ? The cash drawer model is ... Posiflex CR-4100 Cash Drawer

I have a C# application that generates its reports in HTML. After it creates the report, it opens it in IE so it can be viewed or printed. I would like to add the ability to print the report directly from the application, but I haven't found an easy way to do this. I am probably making it overly complicated, but this is what I am doing right now: 1. Instance an "AxWebBrowser" control 2. Navigate the browser control to the report HTML...

We have a requirement in our project to print Html page from a vb.net windows service application. The application should not display any dialog box. The Printer details, which varies for different Print Jobs, needs to be programmatically set. We have found the following code on the net which can be used to print HTML page. Dim p As New System.Diagnostics.ProcessStartInfo p.Verb = "print" p.WindowStyle = ProcessWindowStyle.Hidden...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
