Hallo everybody,
I have in my website administration pages the following script:
function openWin(){
window.open("/multimedia/display?frmNm=0&obj=imageid&capobj=imgcaption","display","scrollbar=yes,resizeable=yes,menubar=no,width=500,height=500");
When this script is called, a popup window opens. The problem is that it
opens allright (with scrollbars and resizeable) in Opera and Mozzilla, it
is not resizeable and it has no...

Hello, I have a nice system where someone clicks on a picture to show the
full version. This pops up in a window.open box. It works great, the only
problem is that if the user clicks a second picture before closing the first
then the new picture loads into the original popup box which is often a
different size. How can i make them open in their own popup windows?

Hi there,
I have a problem with opening new windows with JS. If the webpage did not
complete loading due to any reason a click on a link which is supposed to open a
small new other window loads instead the home page. If the page completes
loading the link is working perfect.

I am trying to create a popup page (to act as a menu) from a parent
page. When the parent page (index.jsp) calls my popup function (see
below) it will properly open the correct size browser window only if
the browser that index.jsp is opened in is NOT maximized. If index.jsp
is maximized and then I click on the test link that fires off the
openMain function, the browser that is opened for the popup is also

I do have a JS-function that does open windows in a specific format to
display small pices of information, like member comments.
Since a while I have found that this will not work on some systems. For
example a user told me that since he is on vista the page does not open
