It depends on what you intend to do. if you wish to maintain some features of the session, e.g. the CodePage or the TimeOut value, you would want to use .Contents.Remov e(...).

If you have no interest in maintaining anything related to the session, use .Abandon().

I have a form that has few text boxes to input. However, after saving, if the user comes back to the same form, then the input boxes should be locked. I would like to know whether this can be handled by session("locked") variable or any other way. Any information to handle this concept is appreciated. Thanks.

I've made a program sorting incomming mail in public folder. The function runs every minute by using the form.timer event. In Access XP it runs for weeks, no problem. Access 2003 runs the same code for 6 hours and stops. I've found the problem to be the Set MySession = CreateObject("MAPI.Session")

I setup the SessionState (out-of-process in SQLServer). I can query ASPState..ASPStateTempSessions table. However, "SessionItemShort" content is serialized. Is it a way to "deserialize" sessions contents stored in SQL Srv? I need to now values stored in all sessions at any given time. The best would be on SQL Server site, or WEB server. I spent two days looking for

We are attempting to convert an already existing application over to using multiple worker processes; thus we need to store state via session state server rather than in process. Since this app previously used in process state there was little back pressure against storing objects in the session. Now we're paying the price because serialization sucks in referenced objects resulting in possibly huge state storage and serialize/deserialize...

Hi, I set the register_globals off and try to get my code working under the new conditions. I stuck on the following problem: Warning: Unknown(): Your script possibly relies on a session side- effect which existed until PHP 4.2.3. Please be advised that the session extension does not consider global variables as a source of data, unless register_globals is enabled. You can disable this functionality and this warning by setting...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
