Forgive me if this has been posted but I could not find an answer. I am using <asp:FileUplo ad ID="FileUpload1 " runat="server" /> to allow a user to select a file from their computer. I need is the Fully Qualified Path in order to attach it to an e-mail. When I use an older version of IE PostedFile.File Name returns the entire path but in Firefox it only returns the filename(includ ing extension) Does anyone know how to obtain the fully qualified path from the file the user has selected. Or have any other ideas of how to obtain it (other than having them type it manually). Thanks in advance.

This is a known problem with Firefox and there is no quick fix, but my suggestion would be to include some JavaScript on the upload / submit button that coppies the upload value (full path) to a hidden field so you can get it on PostBack.

p.s. i think your the same guy as on asp.net forums, have you not seen it or not a valid solution?
