After being frustrated with this issue on several occasions I think I found the secret sauce for solving the issue after reading a few different messages about what others thought and trying a combination of them all. What worked for me was the following: 1. Put a Break Point in MFC source file DLGDATA.CPP on line 338 which is: TRACE0("Warning: skipping non-radio button in group.\n"); (Copyright

I have a web form that is a child of a Master Page. It is a login form for forms authentication. When you fill in the username and password box and press ENTER it doesnt process any of the VB.NET code it sits there doing nothing. I've tried some of the solutions on the internet but they don't work - I think it might have something to do with the fact I'm using a Master Page...? PLEASE HELP! This is driving me nuts!!

Hello All, I have an ASP.NET page with one Textbox (SearchTextBox) and one ImageButton (SearchButton) server controls. The user can type search text in SearchTextBox and click SearchButton and the web server performs a database query and displays the results. All of this works fine. I want the user to be able to press the Enter key while the cursor is still in SearchTextBox and have the SearchButton.Click event fire (thus performing...

I have a problem which I have worked around for some time. I would appreciate any comments on the following statements. When the enter key is pressed it causes a postback. After postback code has been executed, any event driven code is executed. The most common event is caused by a mouse click of a button. After the enter key has been pressed, ASP seems to recognize any event and executes the associated code - regardless of lack of mouse...

How can I find out which control performed PostBack? I have put this code inside my Page_Load event: Response.Write(Page.Request.Params.Get("__EVENTTARGET")) but it doesn't write to response anything when I click on the button inside DataGrid (my asp:Button is located inside my template column togrther with my asp:TextBox). It works fine for DropDownList, which is also inside template column inside DataGrid.

Hi all, I have a form with an input radio control in a template field. When the user selects an option, and press a button the selection disappears.. I would like the selection to persist after the button makes the postback, I tried using the findcontrol but it returns null, and do not know how to make sure that the radio selected persist after the button action makes the postback.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
