I have an ASP page in which there are many combo box & list , based on its selection the query is written to fetch the data, now i hv a 3d button. on click of that button i have to pull that data & generate a report in excel format.
so can someone suggest me the way to proceed??

put this in your header -
Response.ContentType = "application/vnd.ms-excel" filename = "What Ever"&replace(date(), "/", "-")&".xls"

on the page that you want to export to excel.
to make it look correct in excel use tables on your asp page like this.
the brackets are just my example of showing you where that value will end up in excel -

I have a main page where the user log in to access to the data in SQL
Server, the selected data by the user will be exported in a .MDB file into
the server, I want that generated file keeps into client's machine and then
update the local user's data (SQL Server too) with this file, any ideas?,
