Tool to convert html to multiline string for mail?

I need to convert html into a multiline string which looks something like
this:

shtml = "<table border=""0"" cellspacing=""0 "" cellpadding=""0 ""
width=""720"">" & _ "<tr><td width=""100%"" valign=""top""> <br><!-- Main
Table -->" & _

....

Is there a tool that can do this?

What is the source of the HTML? A web page on the Internet? A file on your
file system? In a database? You shouldn't need to do anything but store
the contents of the source in a variable.

I'm looking for the best tool to convert 'every day' html into proper XHTML so that I can parse it as an XML document. So far I've been using Tidylib to do this, but it doesn't handle things as gracefully as browsers do. For example, take the page at http://mail.yahoo.com - all browsers display it properly, but tidying it up with Tidy (using the tool at http://cgi.w3.org/cgi-bin/tidy) will give a result that renders quite differently...

I have a file which has no BOM and contains mostly single byte chars. There are numerous double byte chars (Japanese) which appear throughout. I need to take the resulting Unicode and store it in a DB and display it onscreen. No matter which way I open the file, convert it to Unicode/leave it as is or what ever, I see all single bytes ok, but double bytes become 2 seperate single bytes. Surely there is an easy way to convert these mixed...

I have multiline textbox and I am trying to do a search functionality based on the input entered in this Textbox. I am able to convert into a string array if the search components are separated by commas, for ex (Image1, Image2) by using the StringArrayConverter class available in ..Net 2.0. But I also want to convert the strings entered in new line for example if I enter Image1 Image2

I've done a google search on this but, amazingly, I'm the first guy to ever need this! Everyone else seems to need the reverse of this. Actually, I did find some people who complained about this and rolled their own solution but I refuse to believe that Python doesn't have a built-in solution to what must be a very common problem. So, how do I convert HTML to plaintext? Something like this: <div>This&nbsp;is&nbsp;a&nbsp;string.</div>

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
