I'm writing a unique PL/SQL program to produce Oracle's AR's Invoices
I'm not sure if TEXT_IO is a part of FORMS or PL/SQL ?
It looks like PL/SQL but Oracle's Metalink indicates it is part of FORMS ?
Also I couldnt find any samples with TEXT_IO & DBMS_OUTPUT in the
same PL/SQL ? Can they be used together ??
Thanks in advance

Is there any way to reach the content of the DBMS_OUTPUT buffer after
calling an Oracle stored procedure from ASP/ADO?

Is there a way to capture the standard output from an application running in
a System.Diagnostics.Process() as the output is written? MSDN mentions that
the process writes to a pipe and when the buffer is full it must be retrieved
by the parent of the Process. I would like to retrieve the data realtime,
not wait for the process to either complete or for the buffer to fill. If
this isn't possible is there a way to reduce the size of the...

I have a problem, which I think can be easily solved somehow.
I am trying to execute a C program through using a PHP script. I do
this by sending an exec command from the PHP script. My PHP script is
printed below:
<?php
system('main.exe');

My application is using RegisterDeviceNotification() to detect
attachment and removal of a USB HID-class device.
The form is receiving WM_DEVICECHANGE messages with wParam set to
DBT_DEVICEARRIVAL or DBT_DEVICEREMOVECOMPLETE.
I want to identify the device that has arrived or been removed by
examining the dbcc_name member of the DEV_BROADCAST_DEVICEINTERFACE
structure.

To anyone who is smarter than I am when it comes to WMI:
Here is what I am trying to do:
1) Detect a USB pen drive when it is inserted
2) Retrieve the drive letter of the pen drive
3) Check for a specific folder on the pen drive
I keep receiving an error message that reads:
An unhandled exception of type 'System.ExecutionEngineException'

Hello. I have an ASP.NET application (C#) that I allow users to
upload files. Files get stored in a SQL2005 database. The file data
is stored in a varbinary(max) column.
When the user uploads the file, I store it in a database. When a user
requests to download a file, the file is retrieved from the database
and then sent to them.
The files go in there ok. This is how I store them:

Hello,
We are currently using a program where we recieve the details from the client. Developed in C#.It is recieved through sockets.
It is working fine. i.e. When we start the program afresh we do get details properly. We recieve the data as strings and we store in a list box.But after two or three days we have an error stating as below
System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

I am using ASP.Net 2.0 and VB.Net (although C#is ok also).
I want to create an object/method/function that will take a URL as an input
parameter and then return all of the HTML in that page.
I also want to return the HTTP header information (response object).
Does anyone have an insight as to any code samples or .Net objects I would
use to accomplish this?

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
