Folks,
I've asked this before but never got any response but its important and I
thought I'd pitch it again (hopefully a bit clearer)...
One can pass data from one function to another either by passing a copy, or
passing by reference.
My understanding of passing by reference (putting the & before a variable
during the function declaration) means that the original data is used.

Hello, I am needing to pass a class object (this) by reference to a method

pass '<this>' as a ref or out argument because it is read-only) .. Is there
any way to make <this> not read-only?

empty frame that points to my main page (so that I can repost without new
popups) I have to pass data to the child page from the parent and the only

Hi,
On my 1st page, i have a function which gets a new ID value and need to
transfer to another immediately.
which I want to get in 2nd page using Request.form("txtID"), but doesn't
work, the returned value is ""
Anybody know how to set this value on 1st page properly, in order to let 2nd

but I need an example of passind data from FormA to FormB. My main form is
FormA; I will enter some data in textboxes and click a button to bring up
FormB which needs to display values entered in FormA.

I tried to pass the $result from a mysql_query in a url like this line
Header("Location:clm_historyXL.php?_result=".$result);
but on the redirect location clm_history.php page I get an error on
this line:
$result = $_POST;

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
