Hi,
I have been trying to come up with an idea to reduce double submissions
where a user clicks refresh and, for example, another row is INSERT
into a table.
Originally, I would have a form page. When a user submits the form (ie.
index.php), I would script it so that when the form action would be the
same page but it would use the address 'index.php?action=add'. This is
bad (mmm-kay) as when the user refreshes the page it would add...

Whereas in Asp I could submit my form contents to any other Asp page, it
appears that in Asp.NET the primary Asp form will only submit to itself.
I have tried changing the Action attribute in the Form tag, but it changes
itself back when compiled.
I have also tried changing the form Action attribute in client-side
javascript prior to submitting the form, but I get this error:
The View State is invalid for this page and might be...

Pages run perfectly on any computer with the .Net framework installed.
Not so on those that do not. For example. One page uses a
sqlDataSourceControl to populate a dropDownList. When an item is
selected for the dropDownList, it should be repopulated based on the
user's selection. Insteaded of posting the selected value and
repopulating the dropDownList, the page reloads to it's original state
as if I had refreshed the page. On another...

I have an aspx page that shows a complex image with several objects that
are sensitive to mouseover events. The information about the objects in
the image is obtained from a database and complex calculations are
performed for each object to determine the position within the image. To
render the image I created an aspx page that uses the following code to
render the image:
Response.ContentType = "image/jpeg";...

I am a newbie to ASP.NET. I am converting some asp pages I had working.
I have a page which has a form with several input elements. When the
user clicks on a Submit element - the action specified in the form tags
is to post the data to a new page. What happens however is that the
original page simply reloads. How do I force it to post to the new page
instead. (I suspect the problem may be the runat server directive? I
had to use that...

I have a webform that contains a button which I want to do three things:
1. Delete a record from a database
2. Let the user download a text file that is generated
3. Refresh the page to show that the record was deleted
I am able to do any of these things separately with no trouble. The problem
occurs when I try to offer a download AND call my refresh method. When I try
to do a download and call my refresh method, only the download is...

How do I specify that I want the data in a form to post to a DIFFERENT
document?
I've come across the Button.PostBackUrl property, but it is available in
ASP.NET v. 2.0 only, and I'm using v.1.1.
This seems like such a COMMON thing, I can't imagine that there isn't a
SIMPLE way to do this....
Thanks for your help,

I saw something interesting about a grid pair puzzle problem that
it looks like a machine when you find each that work out the way it
does and say with all the others that work out the way they do
together overlapping common pieces but say connected each working out
as connected, but together as connected it's connected with the others
connected. a whole machine where connected together is a condition of
the machine together as...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
