So, after reading some messages about os.system, and looking at the popen
stuff and trying it a bit, I still have not found a way to keep a command
window open for several commands (on Windows 2000/XP), while seeing the
normal output in a command window. All I want to do is do what a batch file
does, but I want to actually have functions and associative arrays and all
the other niceties of python.
What's the deal with that? I thought...

Hi,
I'm running a batch test using a C# program. This often takes several hours
to run and iterates over a bunch of parameters (say) 1000 times.
The processor is maxed out during this time.
I'd like to provide a button that cancels the batch test when it is
partially done.

What's the trick to running a batch file from VBA? I'm trying to call
it using the Shell function but it's not working for me. If I

We have several batch programs that users need to run each day to move data around our system. The batch files require the user to enter criteria when launching the program. To help simplify this I have created a form that contains several list boxes and a button to launch the batch file. This way the user does not need to type the information in.
