Server.CreateOb ject("ADODB.Err ors") fails

with Invalid ProgID. For additional information specific to this message please visit the Microsoft Online Support site located at: http://www.microsoft.com/contentredirect.asp.

My other Server.CreateOb ject's work for other ADODB objects but not for this one. Any ideas why and how to fix?
Windows 2000 Server SP3.

Thanks.

You can use ADODB.Errors as an object in VB, but I don't believe this is
exposed to ASP. I have only seen the errors collection of ADODB.Connectio n
being used.

The Errors collection is non-creatable, which means that the factory for
creating that collection is not in your hands but in the hands of ADODB
itselves... :)
TO fetch one do this

Set myErrors = myConn.Errors
For each Er in myErrors
Response.Write er.Description
Response.Write "<BR>"
Response.Write er.Source
Next

Hello. We have SQL Server Stored Procedures that use the "CURRENT_USER" variable. We have SQL Server database fields that call "user_name()" as a default. That has been fine in the use and storage of user names, in the context of being called from IIS 5 and 6, from ASP 3.0 using ADODB. I'll add that the web applications are using Basic Authentication. So, individual user account names are garnered and stored. That is valuable to us.

Running MSDE 2000 SP2 on Windows XP SP3. I have a T-SQL script that is relatively simple (adding constraints, inserting rows, etc.) and short (maybe 300 lines, heavily commented). It's an upgrade script I wrote weeks ago, and has worked fine everywhere. After the patch from last Wednesday. "Security Update for SQL Server 2000 Service Pack 4 (KB948110)", I have gotten the following error on two different machines, using a copy of the...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
