Adding commas to a page counter

Hi,

I have a simple script I found that increments a number in a text file.
I was wondering if anyone has a routine that will commify the number.
Thank you!
===============

<%
counter_file = Server.MapPath( "counter/test.txt")
Set fs = CreateObject("S cripting.FileSy stemObject")
Set a = fs.OpenTextFile (counter_file)
counter = Clng(a.ReadLine )
if Session("counte r") = "" then
Session("ct") = counter
counter = counter + 1
a.close
Set a = fs.CreateTextFi le(counter_file , True)
a.WriteLine(cou nter)
end if
a.Close
%>
This website now has <font color="#FF0000" size=4><strong> <%= counter
%></strong></fontTotal Hits

Hello: I have a form that contains a multiple-select field that has 12 options in it. I would like the user to be able to select UP TO FOUR of those options. If they select more than four, I would like to alert them of the error. To do this, I figure that counting commas would be the easiest method (i.e., IF commas > 3 THEN alert user). NOTE: I have an existing "validateForm" function for this form and I'd like to add this IF-THEN...

The following sub form1_load reads in a text file that will say something like the text below. I think that the problem is that every time I add a class V_Sensor into the arraylist it puts it in as a reference. So in the end all of the arraylist items turn out to be the same as the last sensor in the text file. I am new and I do not know how to declare and put a class into an arraylist so it will be a different reference for every loop....

I can't make this script work properly. I've gone as far as I can with it and the rest is out of my ability. I can do some html editing but I'm lost in the Java world. The script at the bottom of the html page controls the form fields that are required. It doesn't function like it's supposed to and I can leave all the fields blank and it still submits the form. Also I can't get it to transfer the file in the upload section. The file name...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
